Ok so transfers are obviously the biggest news. So i got cambiod out of my area, Esquipulas and am now in the are called in english Bethlehem. Or belen in espanol. It´s pretty sweet, its in the capital so i´m living the city life. But ya i guess my zone is the sweetest because we got like everything for pday. 3 malls applebees, bk, mcd´s, wendys and little ceasars. So that´s ll that´s really important the food. But ya not too much things exciting have happened, met some members and stuff. My new comp is Elder marroquin, he´s from xela(shayla)or aka quetzaltenango(where the temple is being built) Quatemala. He´s way tight as all of missionaries from xela are. It´s nice not to have a comp from honduras for a change. Hey also last week i met a rm that served in the same mission as harrison. Just kind of cool.
Now if you ask about the videos the reason we have a turtle is such. I got sick of telling my comp the rules so i just stopped reminding him. And when he found the turtle he just had to have it so the rule was it´s not allowed in the house. But no longer my problem, if i had stayed i probably would have chucked it in the river where it belongs. Anyway thats the turtle story.
Also we had two baptisms this last week, it was for gladys and leyda. I´ll send pics next week. They´re way tight and i hope will stay active, their step dad is an inactive member so hopefully he will reactivate but the situation is complicated. Not much support in their little rama but it´ll grow. Also my area is a barrio(ward) and it seems like its really missionary focused. The goal for the ward is 25 baptisms in the year, the bishop is just cooking it. We have a wall with just a list of people that can come teach lessons with us on whatever days so that i think is key haveing members in lessons and supporting the new converts. Cool experience we were teaching a guy last night that´s a member but my comp hasn´t visted him in his time in the area, but anyway he´s the only member in his family, hes like 70, and as we were talking to him his daughter came in and we were able to teach here a litle about the BOM and put a return appointment so that was exciting.
Now Little Drummer Boy, so the bus ride from Esquipulas to the Capital for transfers is 5 hours. And along the way we stop a lot and vendors come on the bus and try to sell food and drinks occasionally we´ll get a begger. But at this one bus stop after all the food vendors this little drummer boy gets on. And he was a little not all there but he would just bang on this little drum and say random works like jesus, cristo, heart and make a lot of rucus. So he goes around asking for money comes to us and sees that we´re missionaries so he tries to bless us. Puts his hond on my head any my comp, and by now im´more than weirded out. anyway whatever he gives his belssing and leaves to the next person, but then he comes back and this time he want to kiss us on the head. Now probably i wouldn´t have cared but this guy smelled so bad and was missing like all but 3 teeth. There was no way i was letting him kiss my head. So for like what seemed like 5 mins i was leaning all the way over to my comp(i had the fortune of haveing the aisle seat) and keeping him at bay with my hand in his face. He gave up after like 5 times. And ot my relief he left. And that´s the story of little drummer boy.
So that´s my week sounds like you guys had a pretty busy summer and last week with spencer and elen. Sorry i didn´t get around to answering your emails uploading those vids took a lot of time.
