ok so this week, where should i start. Lets just jump to the fun stuff, we had a meeting in the capital this week for all the trainers and greenies. It was kind of a pain because its an 5 hour bus ride to the cap and back. So we got to sleep over which was way fun. Because everyone in our group we got to see and talk about our mission and our areas. It was way fun to see pics from everyones area. The envy of the mission is this place called pureto barrios, its on the ocean so its absolutely gorgeous. But ya the conference was fun it was about being obedient and being the 4th missionary. They´re trying really hard to get us to change the mission because we have a lot of border line missionaries. Who again like guat think rules are more guidelines. But they´re all starting to die or get sent home so its a purification process. And its up to the last 3 groups of missionaries to usher in the new era. I feel it. Also i just realized how old ross is, 20 months man your freaking at the peak of your game. Our zone leader actually entered the mission the same time you did, but he went to the guat mtc so you don´t know him. But ya it seems like everyone is getting sick down here a lot too. So far like in the past week we've given 5 blessings, good practice, but its crazy i guess its really bad in the cap. I´m lucky i´m all the way out here. I´m also glad for socialized health care. I can rub that in all the americans faces. I love it. Also canada day uneventful because i´m the only canadian in esquipulas. so just a regular day, july 4 i spat on it, well theoretically. All the americans in my zone are cool but just so arrogant. And they admit it, i love being canadian.
What else, and yes Oscar and his son did get baptized, it was a gong show though, in typical guat fashion it started like an hour late, we were waiting for the president to show up. But it went on and he got baptized so all good. He didn´t come to church though because his mom is really sick and is dying so hopefully this sunday. By the way shes way old too so don´t feel too bad. He for sure is going to be a good member, and hopefully this next change his other 2 sons that are over 8 will listen to the lessons and be baptized. I know for sure the 8 year wants to now, the other one im not sure. It should be cool because now his dad can baptize him. Hopefully.
Lets see no pics today i forgot my cord, but today for pday we went to this valcano. well actually its a lake in a dried up volcano so it was way sweet. We wanted to walk around it but couldn´t due to its jungle and theres snakes everywhere. So instead we just played futbol in the field they had. Gringos won again. Its always gringos v lats.
So changes are next week don´t know how that´ll go so i´ll write you when i write you, i´m for sure getttin a new comp because my daddy is 6 months old and i´m pretty sure im staying in esquipulas, becuase if they were to white wash the area the missionaries wouldn´t be able to find anybody, due to the streets have no name. Its literally a dirt road or maybe this concrete block things that make the road, whatever it is i love it. Esquipulas is awesome, we have the best comedor in the mission, obviously the most important thing. And ya its just paradise. I´ll for sure send some more pics in the coming week.
Hey i´m glad to hear the girls had a good time on west to zion. They looked so cute in their costumes. Also the rain, i feel it. Like i said the road here are either like concrete bricks or dirt. But then again we don´t have huge trucks driving everywhere, everyone has a motorcycle. But none over 250cc. Everything is like 125 or 100. anyway hope you all are having fun, and being safe. Take luck and all that.
