Subject: Pday service project WHAT
To:
So ya today we had a service project for the first half of pday, that took a bite out of our pday. But it was cool we put together these relief packages for starving families in juitiapa and zacapa, right now like all thier crops failed so they´re starving.
In other news, half way through the transfer and i´m loving it. Elder Marroquin and i are just having so much and working hard doing it. Everynight it´s just a blast usually we end up kicking this tenis ball at eachother but one day while doing this he kicked it out the door and we live on a second level. So the ball bounced out of the house and into somebody elses ward so we no more have a ball. Oh well.
Also this week we had the baptism of flor. It was a sweet baptism we planned it all and spent most of saturday morning getting ready for it. Right now the only really pilas family we´re teaching is the family Gomez, the Mom is a member but is inactive like 25yrs and a new church inactive but way receptive to the message...again, she has 3 children, the oldest is 19 and lives at home we try to teach him but super hard to find him hes always workign, athe second oldest is eddy i don´t konw much about him bevause he lives in anther area, and the daughter susy is 17 and has a 19 month year old kid named franklin. The kid is so funny, but ya she is way receptive and is a fast learner. SO our plan is baptize the 2 kids that still live at home and reactivate the Mom. So funny story we were contacting this week and at one house i knocked and a girl answered the door and i asked her if she lived with her husband and i guess well he was only 16. Now the weird thing is well first i misjugded here age a lot but, its not unusual for kids her age to have a kid and usually have no husband. Its so hard to find a family here just because not a lot of dad´s stick around with their families. And if they do they´re already part of a church which is why theyre still their.
But ya my area is way small and is pretty much just a maze of houses that all look the same. IT´s funny because every street here has like 3 little stores and a bakery on it without fail.
Well love ya all much and love hearing from ya all
