Whoops sorry im writing a day late to ya all but well see the problem was yesterday for paday our zone left to a place called mixco viejo, and it turned out to take all day but all good. It was actually pretty sweet theyre just a bunch of ruins on top of a hill, the disappointing thing is that they arent real just rebuilt. But non the less cool to climb and see. HOpefully ill send some pics of us just monkeying around on the ruins. But seriously it was a long bus ride out there and kind of scary but on the ride out there we had to pass through a place called san juan. And i guess in san juan they have this gang that walks around in black ski masks but really it good because theyre actually like an anti gang gang i found out. All the gangs have no success out in this town because these black ninjas; they call themselvs, just kick out all the gangs and thieves and what else. But not knowing who they were it was kind of scary.
Now as for my area, now that i kind of know the barrio its not too bad. The ward is a small ward of 80 somthing actives which is really good, we only have to teach the gospel pricicples class on sunday and sit with our investigadores which is a nice change of pace. Right now we have one lady that came to church that has a fecha for this saturday. She has 2 ninos and her husband works in the states. But she is prepared so were excited for her baptism this week. Also we{re working with this less active part member family. All are members except the mom, but she is just this crazy old lady and the family is really loud but way fun to teach and talk to. They always tease me when i go over but now my spanish is good enough i can just throw it back at them. Its fun. The good news with them is the son has come ot church the past 2 sundays and before that he{s never come. The son is 19 so were talking to him about a mission, i think it will help a lot wiht the converstion of his mom.
We also had interviews with president this week so that was good. he told us 2 things contact more and set a goal for us this week. The goal is fro us to find and baptize family this month. Easy, actulayy not really but we are teaching this one family that we think might be it. They are super religious in their church but we shared the BOM with the dad last week and we saw him on the street yesterday and he{s read so we visiting the family tonight and hope its all good news from him.
And thats about the week, i{ll share more about our other investigadros next week now i{m goind to try and send the pics
Love yer elder
