Hey yall
so big news this week it was conferencia de zona, so you kno what that means pizza!!! Ya that´s the biggest reason i like it so much. But for reals, it was really good this time. We learned how to contact better and our president showed us the LT.perry plan. Where we work through the ward and really how our goals of lessons and baptisms are really the wards goals tambien. It was neat. Also presidente alvarado talked to us about having confidence in our words. Because our zone is one of the wealthiest stakes in guatemala. so the people are educated and how we need to watch our words and be confident because we have the truth and have the power of god to proclaim his gospel. It was neat because he told us about his experience. Before the mission he worked for the church as ces coordinator and was well off but not rich like a lot of mission presidents. So he had a modest, small house back in el salvador and now he has a ballin apartment that the church loans him and also a nice car. And so the point of this is that he lives in this nice apartment palce and so he talks with a lot of really wealthy people. And he says who am i just a little teacher from modest el salvador to talke to thses people that own entire neighborhoods. And he pointed to his plaque, he said this is our strenght that we are personal representative of jesus christ and that because of this we have power, we have the truth and we need not fear. Also along with taht comes the responsibility of liveing up to that calling but he knows we´re all capable of doin it.
So as far as my week goes it was a struggle, finding people to teach and getting our lessons and really it was the grind but somthing happened. My comp and i have been praying for new people to teach and on saturday we found a family that has some prospects and also found 2 girls that are liveing wiht members taht want to listen to the discustions. What a miracle. Also on sunday we had 4 investigadores out to church. All of thme of course references with a novio or something in the church so all probably going to be active in the church. The problem is we´re waiting for 2 of thme to get divorces and then get married. Law of chastity is a big problem here, probably the same in argentina too hey ross.
WEll that´s my week in the rap next week i´ll try to get another my cribs vid up for ya.
