Wow, its summertime again. IT seems just like yesterday being in Esquipulas. Well the mundial is in full swing, and luckily all the games are in the morning becaue every one and their dog are watching the game. And everyone always gives us the updates.
This week was just a trabajador week, we just worked. Elder Reyes is opening up a little bit more, because the first week i´m almost certain he did´t say more than 100 words. It was pretty funny during the week because when he needed to do something he just signaled to me what he was going to do. I don´t know why i guess hes just way shy. But we were able to do divisiones this week with members so that forced him a bit more to open up his mouth and lead lessons. He still lacks a little on his social skills as far as keeping a conversation going. But poco a poco.
Cool story this week, the last day with Elder Rowan we contacted a taxi driver with whom we had gotte na ride and this last week we had the oportunity to go teach him finally. Taxistas are hard to find. And i guess this guy and his family are way sweet. He had attened the church like 10 years ago and had a fecha and everything but then the elderes got transfered so he lost interest. Until now, i dont know hwat has changed but something and he wants us to pass by and teach them again. So this time around we´re going to get him going for the right reasons and not just fbecause he´s friends with the elders. But a very nice famiy.
Also it rained for like 3 days here, which was way nice because it drops down the temperature to livable. We Also had a baptism of a nino in the rama but only 10 people came because of the rain. Its a weird cultural thing here that if it rains you don´t leave your house for nothing. I guess its kind of like us and snow and -40 degree weather.
