Firstly happy bday out to Ross and fathers day to Dad.
Well today we went to the cerro san gil, its this rainforest like 15 minutes from our house. So we went there to check it out and they have trails up there to go and see and the y have a spring that you can swim in if your not a missionary. So that was way sweet. I´ll send pictures for you all next week its on my other memory.
So changes, ya from now i´m not giong to tell you when changes are so you never forget to write thinking that you have another day. The big news is that i´m staying and that Elder Reyes is my new companion. He´ls from Honduras making him my 3rd honduran comp. He´s really nice guy super humble just is also super quiet. So this last week we haven´t talked a lot . But he´s starting to open up. His accent is way thick so i don´t understand him all the time. But ya just a super humble and nice guy. He only has 5 months in the mission and is still learning a lot. Something funny that happened is that in his last area they don´t recieve as much dinero as we do here so he came here way short on dinero. So it´ll be interesting how he finishes the month. Good thing that we have a lot of food in the house so really we only have travel to pay.
One thing i realized this week while studying and then asking our investigadores is that not a lot of them understand the Book of Mormon. And reall y how we need to do better at explaining it so that they understand it and then apply it in their lives. Here the real problem is to help people understand that the Book of Mormon can help answer question s that the bible can´t. ITs true how many times ive heard a bible a bbible there can only be one bible. But luckily theres a lot of people here who are humble and will at least listen before showing us the door.
In the rama right now weré trying reall yhard to work with the members and less actves. So far those are the people in whom most of the baptisms come from. Even though contacting is important its way more effective to work through the members.
So that´s been my weekhere in santo tomas. Nothing really too exciting happened just showing elder Reyes the ropes.
