So this week, really it was just a grinding week. Keeping my comp animated for the work. He´s been in the area for his whole mission so far(7months) so every jokes with him that he´s serving in the asuncion guatemala mission. IT´s pretty funny but he´s ready to move on.
One cool story i guess, so this week we made a wheel chair. Fijense que a couple that are investigadando the church, the wife had a stroke like a year ago so she can´t use half of her body and therefore can´t walk. THe church is in process of getting a wheelchair but due to expenses its going to take a while until they probably get one donated. So this couple can´t come to church, also to make it worse the husband can´t walk only with crutches, because a month a go he fell and broke his foot pretty bad. So he can´t work for the next month at least, also its hard because he´s a gardener, cuts grass with a machete. Also it´s been interesting teaching them because he can´t read or her. So really all we can teach them is prayer and the commandments, at first it was way hard and then we talked to a member that helped a ton. He told us exactly how and what to teach and he was the one with the idea we make a chair for her. So he took a carriage(for babies, al his kids are grown) and he screwed on one of those plastic chairs. It looks pretty bad.(like sweet bad). So it worked really well and mateo and maria(the couple) just loved church. Its a good experience teaching them, but its going to be quite the challenge to baptize them.
The pilas family we found last week, family dardon abila.(you probably already know this but in hispanic cultures everyone has 2 last names)They invited us over for dinner, and we brought along the bishop which was good(he´s a convert of 5 years) so they are prepared and ready to be members but like always they have some problems, the biggest is they´re not married and the husband is married to another women. So in about 6 months i let you know. Another thing i love, this ward is that its actually a normal size. We average about 90 people, some weeks 80 others 100. And our preisthood has jovenes like 8 of them. and there´s more than 5 preisthood holders. Also funyy story, last week i had to give a talk(20 mins). So i basically just gave cincho(actually is cinturon which is the belt) about missionary work. No references yet but i think they´ll come its a strong ward.
