This was an action packed week, so hold on. FIrst off it was my birthday, so sweet. We have an investigador that thier grandpa´s birthday is the same day as mine so they invited us over to eat. So i thought it would just be like a family dinner, i was wrong it was a freaking fiesta. Their grandpa is like 90(actually 88) but no one really knows his real age i got 3 differnet answers from the guy so i don´t konw which one is correct. ANyway so i guess its a tradition that every year they hire this mariachi band, so i got a mariachi band for my bday. It was awesome it was just a bunch of old guys that have been playing since babes, needless to say they were flawless. They had the xylaphones(it was fun to watch that) and for some songs 3 of them would be playing the xylaphone. And they ahd the drums, bass and saxaphone. They were really good, all they sang was legit central americano songs, oldschool. Then on Sunday our comedor made me a cake, how nice. It was chocolate with flan on top so to was super moist and way delicious. That was pretty much my bday.
Now lets talk milagros, really all it was is that we just opened our mouths and jsut talked to as many people we could, in turn we found 2 super pilas families.(one more than the other)So the more pilas of the two we found while we were waiting in line at a tiendo to buy a phone card. When i fell that i should turn around and said buenas noches. and turned back around to my comp and then something that never happens she asked us what we did, she knew we were missionaries but she didn´t know what we did. Perfect, boom cita put and when we went to the cita we found out that her husband actually works on the churches buildings by the temple. SO they had a load of questions on the temple. Awesome they invited us this wednesday to dinner. The other family we found we were actully llooking for menos activos when we went to the house we talked to the people out front first and they told us they lived there and the others had moved. So we asked if we could come by and teach them. THey agreed, and when we came by they also had a lot of questions, it was interesting because they had never heard of our church before. That is unusual especially for people who live in the city. They seem pilas and are making the connections, as in they understand the apostasty and that it is possible that god called another profeta. We´ll see what happens.
As far as our current investigadores, Fam. Toledo has a fecha for the 28. Claudia has been sick. Lafuente´s grandpa almost died(he´s 90) so we just put another cita with them. And Sinclair were the ones with the mariachi band.
That´s pretty much my week, sorry there hasn´t been photos but we go to this one internet place that for some reason my usb thing doesn´t work. So got to wait till i figure this out.
Cuidense todos
