So i guess right now would be considered winter as its the rainy season. Everyone tells me its a whole lot wetter this year than years past, and the good news is that its going to keep coming. With every storm that passes of the coasts brings rain to the capital. So it continues to rain everyday.
As for my week, it sure went by fast. But it seems thats every week, as they only get faster and faster. Last week for pday i got to spend the day with radio, that was interesting and then we went to a little aldea up at the edge of our zone and got some nice pics of the capital. IT was way cool we could see lake atitlan from up their. I had always thought the lake was way far away but up on the mountain we could see it. IT was pretty cool to see the city because its really just 4 cities squished together. You have Guatemala city then mixco then antigua followed by amatitlan, and then the lake. So it cool to see.
The rest of the week was pretty much the grind teaching, we had to do some running around for baptisimal interviews. And then on saturday we had the baptism of Marlyn. Shes married to an exmissionary, taht has just recently been coming to our ward so that was neat. All of the family of her husband came to support them and her husband got to baptiz her. They have also just the funniest little daughter, she´s 2 and is so smart. During the baptism service she was running in between her mom and her uncle, each time telling her mom some little secret such as ¨bautizate¨ which is baptism yourself. It was way funny.
Also one day we got permission to go back to one of elder halls old families in one of his old areas to go eat with them. That was fun but long. Elder hall only has 6 weeks left and is ready for his last area, as for we got cambios this wensday. WEll i hope all is well, as for here all is good. We had just the sweetest family come to church this week. I think i talked about them last email, giovanni and marta morales. IT was good to see the whole family there this time.
