So this week has been the usual. Except we did put a baptism date with this one girl whose family we had been teaching. The girl had always gone to church but the parents wouldn´t let her for i guess lik 2 years. So that was sweet, we´re hopeing to baptize the rest of the family the next month. We´ll see how it goes.
Ok so funny thing Elder Martinez does. When ever we plan or i´m trying to show him somthing during comp study he is always right there. As in so close his agenda is covering mine. He´s way enthousiastic for the work, which is great but sometimes needs a little patience. We were teaching our first lesson together last week and so ok before the lesson i explained to him what we´d be teaching. Get in there and boom, he starts teaching Book of Mormon before anything else. We´´re working on that. But it has improved and he reminds me of how fresh i must have been for my first change. I didn´t even speak spanish. But he´s a jolly kid.
Also this week we had zone conference and that was just awesome. We´re focusing on christlike attributes this week so pretty much we just talked about the saviour. And how our converts need to understand the atonement and when they understand that they´ll be willing to be baptized.(see Mosiah 3 to 5) So then President also talked to us about that and how we need to focus each lesson on the saviour and his atonement. It was really good and made me rethink how to teach the lessons. Also we had the area doctor come in and talk to us. He gave us some great breathing excerses. I´ve been doing them before bed each night and its pretty relaxing.
So that´s my week, its good to hear about Canada just kicking in the olympics. Well take care all of you.
