Well this week we had Zone Conference, that was the big event of the week. It went really well, presidente talked to us about an experience he had as director of public affairs for the church in El Salvador. That through all the desafios he had and experiencias, through each step of the way he saw the vision and the vision came more and more clearer. He then related this to us how right now we may not now what the vision is but through each step of the way it will become clearer. But for now we need to know the end at the beginning to understand it. So he came out with the plan for the mission, basically telling the mission to be united. That really i think was the problem and why as a mission we´re hit and miss, we don´t all have the same vision. And then hew talked about how one misssion in central america was having phenomanal success in terms of growth and when he asked that mision president the answer was we have the same vision. All of zone conference we talked about the vision and how we´re going to achieve it. I´m really excited for the mission and i know this year we´re going to accomplish our goals and work miracles because we all have the same vision.

Now more on an area level. Elder Rowan and i have been haveing just an awesome time. Having fun and working miracles. There´s two stories i´d like to tell you about that we had this week one with blanca the second with godfrey.

Blanca, so our friday was going good, we were booked with citas and so far in the day they had all been kept. Until about 4 they just started fallin like flies. So there we stood out of ideas then a thought came to my head what about Blanca. Now to understand who is blanca let me explain how we met her. We were contacting and knocked her door, she told us she was busy and to come by another day. So we went to the neighbors and taught a super powerful lesson, i mean one of the best of the change. So we go back to the neighbor and he hides from us so we´re all great well lets try blanca cause she told us to come back, even though she seemed a little crazy. So we knock, and she looks out the door and screams Ahhhhiiiii. Elder Rowan and I look at each other shocked but laughing so hard. She proceeds to tell us wait there and she´ll bring chairs out to talk. As we´re talking and giving the lesson she´s all wait a minute do you feel that. We look at eachother confused, we question more. And shes all i feel the spirit right here don´t you? Well then we explain about the spirit perfect. But still she told us in the creepiest way that the spirit was there. So we finsih the cita and don´t put another one cause shes going to the capital to see here mom and will be back in about 2 weeks. We forget all about her until that day like well why not. Ok we go back and shes not there, well ok lets try the neighbor again maybe he´s had a change of heart. As we´re knocking the door blanca comes out from her house like what are boys doing come over here and talk to me. So we´re able to teach here, and wow the miracles that happened in her life in just that 2 weeks were amazing, and we talk abou the power of prayer. She basically knows the church is true. We find out that her son was a member of the church but died joven and had his BOM buried with him. So she already knows fo the church. The only thing that would make this story better is if she had gone to church but she didn´t. None the less she´s done more than the majority of our investigadores, that is pray.

Godfrey, ok hes the one from Belize; but always tells us its british honduras. So we go to visit him because my comp gave him his special BOM in english so that he could read. He hadnt so we went to try and retireve it. Mission successful, but thats not the story. The story is we explained to him the restoration and he understood it. so i´m going to do a littl edialouge so that ya´ll can see how great of a man godfrey is.

¨Godfry¨ Ï´m a poor man, it sucks to be a poor man, i have to work all the time¨

godfrey ¨thats true but my girlfriend doesn´t want to be obidient so its hard, i want to move back to british honduras¨

ok so he lives with his girlfriend who is just a nasty person, so we start reading the restoration folleto and explain about jose smith.

Us ¨so jose lived in the united states and prayed to know it was true and recieved his answer and was a profet¨

Godfrey ¨wait a minute, jose was a real man¨

Us ¨yes¨

Godfrey ¨thats amazing we have a profet today, he had the same questions i have. I do need God¨

Ok so thats the jist of the conversation, basically he was surprised that this all actually happened and was amazed by it. It was cool to see the understanding illuminate his face. I hope he moves back to british hondurad and leaves his girl. He even told us he wants to move back. Now if you read the dialouge you didn´t read it correct. Read it again but this time have godfrey talk with a jamaican accent because he does, but not as strong. And he´s black.
